"Platform" includes the Company’s software, web portal, weather forecasting email service, job management system, and all associated features.

Daily Weather Forecasting Emails: Delivery of weather forecasts tailored to assist in winter gritting and snow clearance planning.
Job Completion Reports: Email reports detailing completed jobs, including time, location, and summary.

Account Creation: We will generate a Client login for you to access the portal to access the Platform. You are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date information during registration.
Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access or use.
User Responsibility: You agree not to share your login credentials or allow others to access your account.
Authorized Access: You may use the Platform solely for purposes related to your agreement with North East Gritters Limited.
Compliance: You agree to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and these Terms of Use.
Prohibited Activities:
Unauthorized access or attempts to bypass security measures.
Misuse of any features for purposes not intended by the Company.
Uploading malicious code, viruses, or any harmful content.
Ownership: All intellectual property rights in the Platform, including but not limited to software, design, logos, and content, belong to the Company or its licensors.
License: The Company grants you a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Platform for the duration of your agreement.
Restrictions: You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Platform.

Client Data: You retain ownership of data you upload to the Platform. By uploading data, you grant the Company a license to use it for the purpose of providing services.
Vehicle Tracking: Any tracking data shared via the Platform is subject to applicable privacy laws and is used solely for job management and verification purposes.
Downtime: The Company strives to ensure continuous operation of the Platform but does not guarantee uninterrupted access.
Maintenance: Scheduled maintenance may result in temporary unavailability. Users will be notified in advance where possible.
Liability: The Company is not responsible for losses resulting from Platform downtime or errors.
By the Client: You may terminate your account by contacting the Company in writing.
By the Company: The Company reserves the right to terminate or suspend access if:

The Company ceases operations or discontinues the Platform.
Post-Termination: Upon termination, your access to the Platform will be revoked, but certain obligations (e.g., payment of outstanding fees) may still apply.

The Company disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
The Company does not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of weather forecasts or vehicle tracking data.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for:

Loss of data, revenue, or profits arising from use of the Platform.
Claims exceeding the fees paid by the Client in the 12 months preceding the event.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its employees, and agents from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.
The Company may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Changes will be effective upon posting to the Platform. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
